As a leading name in orthopedics, Wake Orthopedics came to COCG./ A Division of Healthgrades with a desire to re-focus their digital presence in order to capture a larger demographic. Understanding their core audience was critical in developing their strategic digital platform. Once we understood the audience, it allowed us to make smarter decisions going into the design strategy.
Once we started the design strategy for the practice, we looked at bringing to light to their passion for care, patient experience and relationships. Then, we used those elements as a foundation on which to build, design, layout and write content for a modern website with individualized patient care as the focus. This led to a unique customized home page banner with a mix of doctor and patient photos, extensive doctor profiles, as well as elements that drive visitors to symptom and condition pages with targeted SEO content. The website navigation encapsulates the central “We care” message of Wake Orthopaedics by making it intuitive for patients to find answers and information, whether on a desktop or other mobile device.
Ultimately, the purposeful organization of the site allows visitors to get a feel for the personable and community-wide impact of Wake Orthopaedics through their innovative, compassionate care.
