Kanki is a North Carolina-based Japanese steakhouse offering one of the most unique dining experiences in the Triangle. COCG was tasked with creating a brand-new responsive website for this 40-year-old restaurant franchise. With a well-established reputation, we were faced with the challenge of elevating a brand that already stood out from its competition in terms of quality of service and food.
Part of COCG’s redesign vision included a professional photography shoot that would serve to help visually share the story of Kanki—and the investment paid off. The result is a beautiful, image-focused responsive website featuring mouth-watering food photography and engaging copy to reflect the Kanki experience.
On-page menus were also created to cater to searchers looking for particular menu items, and a fixed location bar at the bottom of each page offers easy and convenient access to hours and directions for browsers.
