COCG + Google = An All-Star Combo

COCG is interrupting our usual updates on the state of Internet marketing to do a little bragging. You see, it’s not every day that Google emails you to tell you you’re the best they’re giving you a million bucks, that you’ve been named a 2013 Google Engage All-Star — and that they’re flying you to Google HQ.

But that’s exactly what happened to us about a month ago. So, how’d we earn All-Star status? Just by doing what we do best — helping our clients get ahead on the web.

What Exactly Is Google Engage?

Google Engage is a program that identifies agencies that exhibit leadership in the fields of online advertising and search engine marketing (SEM). To become a 2013 Google Engage All-Star, COCG demonstrated itself as a trusted and growing AdWords partner — and blew past Google’s benchmark criteria for pay-per-click advertising (PPC) and SEM.

Approximately 14,000 agencies competed to become an Engage All-Star. At COCG, we’re proud to be one of the chosen few. All-Stars have access to exclusive benefits, including dedicated Google support, client reward programs, ongoing training, webinars and events — but it all starts with a trip to the Googleplex.

We’re Going to the Googleplex on August 12 — Follow Along with Us!

On August 12, Andy Waldrop (CO’s Director of Internet Marketing) and Josh Kinney (our Search Engine Marketing Manager) are headed to the Googleplex in Mountain View, CA, where they’ll be participating in the Google Engage All-Stars Summit.
