Authorize.Net & the POODLE Vulnerability
It was recently announced that there is a new Internet-wide security issue that affects anyone using older Web browsers with SSL version 3 (SSLv3), and Internet Explorer (IE) 6. This vulnerability is known as POODLE.
Authorize.Net recently announced that they are taking action to protect their merchants from POODLE by disabling the use of SSLv3 within their systems. This means that if your website or shopping cart utilizes SSLv3 to send transactions to Authorize.Net, you will no longer be able to process these transactions on November 4, 2014.
